Brothers and sisters,
Happy Veterans Day! And Happy Anniversary to the Purple Heart Riders Association we are at 10 years and going strong. All that is because of each and everyone of you. So, with that I say thank you.
Here it is already November and for most the riding season has come to an end, time to order those parts that you want to put on over the winter for next years riding season and do that fall/winter maintenance that you need to do to get ready for next year.
Also, as a reminder that with the Christmas season coming up I encourage everyone to participate in a toy run (if you haven’t already) Or donate to your local Toys for Tots bin. We as the National Association have already donated to the Toys for Tots like every year prior. And if you do find the time maybe connect with your local Toys for Tots to see if you can spend some time with them when they deliver the toys. I did that last year and for me it was not only humbling but very rewarding. For my son who is in Boy Scouts it encouraged him and his troop to make and build toddler beds for the local shelter that was able to place families in home but didn’t have bed frames for their children.
Don’t forget that this April will be our National Meeting in Branson, Mo during their Purple Heart Week. April 11-13, 2018. Remember when you call to make your reservation you tell them it is for April and not the August National MOPH meeting.
To make your reservation call BRANSON TOURISM CENTER 1-800-268-4014
Thank you and happy Veterans day,
Aj “Wrench” Johnson
National President Purple Heart Association
