Brothers and Sisters,
Another spring day here in the Rockies with snow showers and high wind.
Sending out a Reminder about the National Meeting being held this year during Branson’s Purple Heart week in April and NOT the Purple Heart week that is happening in July.
April’s National meeting will be held 10-13th,2019 at the Radisson. Get your rooms reserved now call 1-800-268-4014 for the room discount.
There is much to discuss this year at the National meeting to include where the following National meeting will be held. As well as items to be added to the bylaws and such.
Also, this year is to be the last year for “Rolling Thunder” in Washington DC, not to be mistaken with “Run for the Wall”. In fact the run for the wall folks say that they will continue with their 10 day journey from the west coast to DC.
For those of you wishing to participate in the final Rolling Thunder make sure to contact the Best Western pentagon for your room and don’t forget to mention that you are with the Purple Heart Riders, otherwise you will get the “Sorry, we are all booked”.
Along with winter ending and Spring beginning comes the safety briefing. Please make sure that all your maintenance is finished and current prior to the riding season, as well as for those of you who have been off of your ride for a few months due to the weather where you live, take caution in getting out there and stretching out your 2 wheels. Don’t forget along with you not riding for a few months… most cage drivers haven’t seen people on 2 wheels in a few months and we all know the tales of how many cage drivers say, “I dint see the motorcycle”. Just be safe out there everyone. And I hope to see everyone at Branson.
