 New Hampshire warriors killed in Iraq and Afghanistan

Spc.William J. Tracy ,23, Army, of Webster, NH died February 24, 2003, when the helicopter he was aboard crashed in night training during a sandstorm in the Kuwaiti desert.

Sgt.Robert Rooney ,43, Army Massachusetts National Guard, of Nashua, NH was killed in September 2003 in a forklift accident in Kuwait.

Sgt. Randy Rosenberg ,23, Army, of Berlin, was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq in January 2004.

Spc. Jeremiah Holmes ,27, Army National Guard, was driving a truck west of Baghdad when he was killed by a roadside bomb in March 2004. Holmes spent his childhood in New Hampshire but lived in North Berwick, Maine.

M/Sgt. Richard Ferguson ,45, Army Special Forces, was killed in Iraq in April 2004 when his vehicle rolled over.

Spc. Jeremy Regnier ,22, Army, of Littleton, NH was killed in October 2004 when his armored vehicle drove over a bomb during a patrol in Iraq.

Spc. Alan Burgess ,24, Army National Guard, of Landaff, NH was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq in October 2004.

L/Cpl. Adam Brooks ,20, USMC, of Merrimack, NH, was killed in November 2004 while patrolling Baghdad after a bomb exploded near his Humvee.

L/Cpl. Dimitrios Gavriel, 29, USMC, of Plaistow, NH was killed near Fallujah, Iraq during combat operations on November 19, 2004.

Cpl. Timothy Gibson ,23, USMC, of Merrimack, NH was on a transport helicopter when it crashed in western Iraq in January 2005, killing 30 Marines and one Navy Corpsman.

Sgt. Angelo Lozada Jr .,36, Army, of Nashua, NH died in a mortar and rocket attack in Iraq in April 2005.

SCPO Daniel R. Healy ,36, Navy Seal, of Exeter, NH was among 16 killed when their MH-47 helicopter which was on a rescue mission and was shot down in Kunar Province, Afghanistan in June 2005.

Pfc. Matthew Bertolino ,20, USMC, of Hamstead, NH died in February 2006 when his vehicle overturned while on patrol in Afghanistan.

Pfc. George Roehl ,21, Army, of Manchester, NH died in April 2006 when a roadside bomb exploded near his Bradley Fighting Vehicle and he and his unit were attacked in Iraq.

L/Cpl. Robert Moscillo ,21, USMC, of Salem, NH died in May 2006 when his Humvee hit a landmine in Iraq.

Pfc. Nicholas Cournoyer ,25, Army National Guard, Gilmanton, NH was killed in May 2006 by a roadside bomb in Iraq.

Capt. Douglas DiCenzo ,30, Army, of Plymouth, NH was killed by a roadside bomb in May 2006 in Iraq.

Sgt. Russell Durgin ,23, Army, of Henniker, NH was killed by small armsfire in Afghanistan in June 2006.

Sgt. Daniel Gionet ,23, Army Medic of Pelham, NH was killed by an explosion that hit his tank in Iraq in June 2006.
